It’s been a long way
to reach the kingdom from far away.
Many losses were forfeited on the road
and even if they weighted a lot, not many were more than a superficial load.
The path to true happiness
cannot be reach without losing oneself:
there is indeed no easiness
in reaching out of the delf.
But is there a better reward
than being alive forever?
If love is the award
who will hesitate, ever?
Even if much remains to be done
for us both to write using a new tone
the music of our future family life,
I will always walk by your side, humming in harmony with you, my wife.
Written while listening to Erin McCarley’s song, It’s Not That Easy

He stays silent, looking up at the moon
Eyes wide open, starring into the night
His sorrow washed away by the stars
A rose growing from his heart.
Bathed by the moonlight,
Caressed by the cold night breeze,
He simply feels anew
A rose growing from his heart.
Hearing the music from the sky
Feeling the warmth from inside
He knows he is not alone anymore
A rose growing from his heart.
He stays silent, looking down at the earth
Eyes shut, starring into his heart
His happiness witnessed by God alone
A rose growing from its heart.
He feels complete at last
A woman’s hand in his own
The beloved woman he received
Who is growing a rose in his heart.
To my wife… The engagement poem she never received… until now

What if
the clouds were our home
the sky our roads
the stars our friends
the lightning our bedside lamp
the rumble of thunder our love song
the night our bed
the moon our dream
the sun our hope…
Would it really be different?
